The European Commission – DG Competition cleared with conditions a joint venture between Vodafone Europe B.V. and Telecom Italia S.p.A. in the markets for (i) the overall supply of hospitality services on micro sites, without any further segmentation, (ii) the retail provision of mobile telecommunications services, excluding M2M subscriptions, (iii) the retail provision of M2M subscriptions, (iv) access and call origination on public mobile telephone networks (wholesale), (v) the provision of fixed Internet access services (retail), (vi) the wholesale supply of fixed access and (vii) wholesale services for fixed backhaul.
