Academic and professional background
Ruzica is currently a PhD in Law candidate at the University of Vienna with the dissertation on the topic of EU State aid law. She holds an LLM from the same university with a focus on the EU internal market and competition, and a graduate degree in law from the University of Nis (Serbia), with a specialisation in international law. Previously, she worked for the legal team of the Energy Community Secretariat in Vienna on competition law issues, and completed several other internships at various international organisations. She also practiced law in her home country in the period 2012 to 2013.
