Academic and professional background
Meeri graduated of a Bachelor degree with honors in European Comparative Law from Tallinn Law School and she has an International Baccalaureate (IB) high school diploma. She completed her second year of studies at the law faculty of Maastricht University, and she has participated in extracurricular courses around Europe on e.g. energy law, corporate social responsibility and e-governance.
Currently spending a gap-year to gain experience from cross-border legal practice, Meeri is doing an internship at a law firm providing consultancy for international clients and Embassies in Izmir and from October onwards at a law firm specialized in mediation in Geneva. Her aim is to qualify as a practicing lawyer in New York and specialize in international trade and energy law.

Meeri is a member of European Law Students Association (ELSA), Amnesty International, and Tallinn Law School’s student association ”Õigus”. She is part of the alumni network of Tallinn University of Technology.
