Academic and professional background
Marta is a qualified lawyer registered at the Madrid Bar Association. She has a Spanish and EU Law degree from CEU San Pablo University. As part of her EU Law degree specialization she undertook a 5 months program in Economic and Legal studies of the European Union at the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. She has an LL.M. in Competition Law from King’s College London and a second Master’s Degree in IP Law from Magister Lucentinus (University of Alicante). She worked in international law firms and did an internship at the French competition authority. Recently, she finished a 10 months traineeship at the Spanish Competition Authority in the Industry and Energy department of the Competition Directorate.
