Academic and professional background
Helena Belina Djalil is an external expert with Fatur law firm o.p. in Ljubljana. She has extensive experience in competition and corporate matters across various industries. In her professional career, she has worked in public and private sector. Upon graduating from University of Ljubljana she began her career as attorney trainee, moving on to consultancy firms where she advised clients on areas of corporate law, labor law, public procurement, intellectual property law including IT, consumer protection and e-commerce. She spent nearly 5 years at the Slovenian Competition Agency, where she gained a thorough knowledge and understanding of competition law, policy and proceedings on the national as well on the EU level. She joined the Fatur Law Firm as an associate attorney in the beginning of 2014, where she primarily dealt with competition and corporate law. Since February 2016 she started her own practice as Attorney at Law and cooperates with the Fatur Law Firm as an external expert.
